Our mission is to inspire and equip Christians to know and love their local places through practical, community-focused conservation. We see care for creation as a worshipful response to God in recognition that all things have been created through and for Jesus, in him all things hold together, and, through his death and resurrection, all things are redeemed. We believe that God calls his people to steward creation, but many faith communities are unsure of where to begin.
Our Conservation@Church programs are a way to do just that. We are working with A Rocha USA to develop resources and opportunities for churches to explore what it means to know and love their places in practical ways. There are several ways for local churches to get involved.
Nashville A Rocha Activities
We are always happy to have new friends join us for any of our events and workshops. We send periodic email updates to local churches with bulletin and newsletter-ready blurbs about our upcoming activities. Local churches also have an opportunity to host certain Nashville A Rocha events.
If you would like to join our church email list or are looking for other ways to get involved in Conservation@Church, fill out the form below.
Creation Care Camp
A Rocha USA’s new Creation Care Camp curriculum, Wild Wonder, is now available. This week-long camp lets kids experience the wonder of the natural world as they learn to see God as the maker, sustainer, and lover of all of creation. Find out more here.
The A Rocha Community
The A Rocha Community is a way to access educational conservation resources, practical how-tos, and program and event ideas. You can also connect with other groups around the country working to care for their local places, share ideas, ask questions, and encourage one another. Register here.
